The Deluge is about the historically wet and cold winter of 2023, the abundance of growth that followed, and the way these seasons reflect moving through our new normal.
The Deluge is a 32 page handbound artist book combining letterpress and Risograph. 35mm photographs were printed in a Riso RZ310, MZ1090, and SF9450 in 13 colors, with several in transition, at Chute Studio in Oakland, CA. Text pages were hand set in lead and wood type at In Cahoots Residency in Petaluma, CA.
